The PTO sponsors many wonderful social events as well as financially supports and enhances the education of all New Hartford children in grades PreK-6.
The following are examples of our efforts:
* We have funded enrichment programs including Arithmatickles, Joseph Firecrow, Roaring Brook Nature Center, and many more assemblies that are brought to the schools for the enhancement of education.
* We host many exciting events such as a Halloween party, the Scholastic Book Fair, a Father-Daughter Dance, a Mother-Son event and much more.
* We take an active role in the beautification of our schools.
* We participate in the following programs which help provide equipment and supplies for our schools:
· Box Tops for Education
· Campbell’s Labels for Education
· Price Chopper’s Tools for Schools
· Nestle Go Play! Labels
· Big Y Education Express
The PTO was very busy last year and we hope to accomplish more wonderful things in the 2009-2010 school year. We need your help to make this organization work for the staff, parents, and most importantly the students. Thank you for your support.
