  • Jay Kaplan from Roaring Brook Nature Center visited third and sixth grades this week. Students in grade 6 were treated to a presentation on "Birds of Prey." Children in grade 3 are studying animals and their habitats. Mr. Kaplan brought along several interesting specimens for them to view. We enjoy the presentations from Roaring Brook each year.

  • Noted poet, Kenn Nesbitt, visited Ann Antolini School. Grades 3 through 6 were treated to almost hour long presentations by the author of My Hippo Has the Hiccups and Revenge of the Lunch Ladies (to name just two!) As the web-site states "kids love Ken Nesbitt's hilarious poetry" and his poems are filled "with their rollicking rhythms, playful rhymes, and mischievous twists." The presentation was made possible by the joint efforts of fourth grade teacher, Sheila Hawley and the PTO. Thank you for a most enjoyable visit!
