Welcome to the New Hartford Elementary Preschool page.
We currently have 6 children in our program, which meets 4 days each week. We have openings for more children, so if you are interested, please contact me!
I hold a B.A. from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, CT in Special Education/Child study and Music. I hold a M.A. from the University of Connecticut in Gifted Education. I have more than 20 years of experience working with children, most of it with very young children, most of it also in public schools. I have been teaching preschool in New Hartford since March, 2001. My newest adventure has been teaching as an adjunct professor at my alma mater, Saint Joseph College, in the Early Childhood Special Education graduate program. I love spending time with other early childhood professionals who are at various stages in their carreers and talking with them about what we do and why we do it. I live here in the Farmington Valley with my husband, four (nearly grown) children, and several pets.
