    NEW! From the School Offices: Picture retake day will be Wednesday, November 11 at all three schools! Please be sure to return pictures that you would like retaken. If you were not available for the original picture day contact the school office for order forms.

    From the Health Office: Farmington Valley Health has provided updated COVID 19 protocols. If your child has traveled please consult the school nurse for further guidance.   

    Please keep your child home if they have experienced any of the following in the past 24 hours:

    • Fever of over 100.4 (and above)
    • New or worsening cough
    • Shortness of breath
    • Sore throat
    • Diarrhea
    • New loss of taste of smell
    • Contact with a person with known or suspected COVID 19

    If you answer "yes" to any of the above please stay home, self isolate and contact your physician. Please notify the nurse if you or your child has had close contact with a person diagnosed with COVID 19 or if you have traveled via airplane internationally or domestically to a state on Connecticut's travel advisory list. Please keep the student home. 

    After School Care: The BASES Antolini program would like to share information about the program available to all New Hartford students. 



    • NEW! Family Friendly Fun: Join us on October 25 for a Spooky Socially Distant Soirée! Grey Area Tavern will donate 10% of all sales to ProjectPlayground. DBA Dance will be hosting outdoor games and much more! 
    • Project Playground: We are running a Butter Braid Pastry Fundraiser this fall to benefit Project Playground. Stock up on yummy pastry beginning 10/5/20. Return your form by 10/23 and pick up 11/10. For more information about the playground just click here
    • Spirit Day: Don't forget to celebrate New Hartford Public Schools by wearing red on the first Friday of the month! 
    • We are continuing with our gotsneakers? program! There are collection boxes at each of our schools. All proceeds benefit Project Playground



    • NEW! New Hartford Basketball: Due to COVID-19 we are unable to find local schools that are allowing outside organizations to use their gyms. Unfortunately there will not be a New Hartford Youth Basketball travel season. See this flyer for a link to opportunities offered by Connecticut NorthStars in Canton. 
    • Girl Scout Pleasant Meadow Service Unit: Our girls have painted friendship rocks and placed them on hiking trails in Barkhamsted and New Hartford. There are 58 rocks! Here are the details
