• We are pleased to share the work created by the members of our Talented Enrichment Program.

Research was focused on the community of New Hartford and its rich history. Members collaborated and created a list of questions that pertained to New Hartford.  Going out of their comfort zones, students interviewed a member of the New Hartford community.
From there, they began to develop possible topics for research and presentation.
In addition to on site and online resources, students were expected to conduct at least one interview.
Students were encouraged to create a project that would be meaningful to them. Opportunities were provided for small group or individual presentations. Students considered a variety of presentational styles.
Each week, students presented updates to the entire group and were engaged in problem solving.  The group created a calendar for expected dues dates and previewed each other's work.

Below, you will find videos made during their final presentations.
