    Hello, ! 
    Welcome to the New Hartford Elementary Preschool page.
    We currently have 17 children in our program, both 3 and 4-year-olds.  The 3-year-old program runs for four half-days each week, either mornings or afternoons, Monday through Thursday.  The 4-year-old program runs daily from 8:30 to 3:00.
     
      I hold a B.A. from St. Joseph College in West Hartford, CT in Special Education/Child study and Music.  I hold a M.A. from the University of Connecticut in Gifted Education. I have 30+ years of experience working with children, most of it with very young children, most of it also in public schools.  I have been teaching preschool in New Hartford since March, 2001. I have also enjoyed teaching as an adjunct professor at my alma mater, Saint Joseph College (now the University of Saint Joseph), in the Early Childhood Special Education graduate program.  I love spending time with other early childhood professionals who are at various stages in their careers and talking with them about what we do and why we do it.  I live here in the Farmington Valley with my daughter, and several pets, and I have 3 grown sons.
