There is an opening for a 1.0 FTE Special Education Tutor at Ann Antolini School.
- Assist in individual pupil instruction.
- Assist teacher in maintaining discipline.
- Assist teacher in data collection.
- May escort child to and from various rooms.
- Toileting may be required.
- Regular attendance is required for this position.
- Will involve work with special education student(s) under direction of a certified teacher.
- This position will require CPI training to be provided by Student Services Department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Two years of college credit OR hold an associate’s (or higher) degree; OR successful completion of a paraprofessional assessment
Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple directions, short correspondence, and memos. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Effectively communicate with special education teachers.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to problem solve scenarios involving a few concrete variables.
