Hello! My name is Mrs. Piros, and I will be in for Mrs. Mellilo for the 2018-2019 school year! I will be teaching 5th grade band, 6th grade band, 5th and 6th grade chorus, 5th and 6th grade general music, and Mrs. Stimson's 3rd grade class!

I am very excited to meet all of you!

I have been playing trumpet since I was in 5th grade, and have been in love with it ever since! I also spent most of my life in choir, because I love to sing and sing as often as I can!

Outside of school, I play and march trumpet in the Connecticut Hurricanes Drum and Bugle Corps, and play trumpet in an all girl brass band called "You're Not Listening!"

I went to Western Connecticut State University for my Bachelors of Arts in Music, and went to University of Bridgeport to recieve my Masters of Science in Education/Music Education PK-12.

I grew up in Cheshire, but now live in Windsor with my husband (who is also a music teacher!) and my two cats, Phil and Mariah.
