    From The Superintendent of Schools:  

    • Board of Ed Meeting: December 6, 2022 - Agenda
    • Important News about Free and Reduced Lunch: The State of Connecticut SMART Funds providing free meals for all students will expire on December 6. Please see the attached for information regarding breakfast and lunch meal prices and the application process for Free and Reduced Meal Application.  If you choose to pay with cash or check (payable to NHLP) please send money in a clearly marked envelope with your student's name. Our cashier can add cash or check payments to your account. 

    From the Antolini Office:

    • NEW! PJ Day for Kids: On Friday December 9, NHPS students will participate in PJ Day for Kids to benefit Connecticut Children's. For a minimum donation of $1.00, students can wear their pj's! The event was started 11 years ago by a boy in Coventry trying to support his sister who was in the hospital and wearing pj's every day! This simple tribute has raised over two million dollars over the years. If you'd like to be a part of our efforts, bring your dollar(s) and wear your pj's! 
    • NEW! Antolini School will be presenting a holiday gift shop providing students with the opportunity to purchase gifts for family members. The shop will be open the week of December 12. The proceeds from the store help to defray the cost of field trips and other student activities. Students will visit with their class, schedule TBD! 


    From the GATE Program: Antolini's Gifted and Talented Program participants are conducting a Toy Drive. Donations can be brought to the Antolini Library from November 15 through December 8. New toys only and thank you in advance!!! 



    • NEW! PTO Benefit Bake: Dine in, pick up, or grub hub delivery on Tuesday, December 6 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM but definitely order from flatbreadco! They will donate from $1.75 to $3.50 for each flatbread ordered. Proceeds support NHPTO. 
    • Buy a PAW: Purchase a PAW and have your child's or family's name included on the playground fence at either Bakerville or New Hartford Elementary. Click here for more information!

    • NEW! Avon Hockey: It's time for Learn to Skate! This is the ideal way to introduce children to ice skating. The program is sponsored by the Avon Canton Farmington Youth Hockey Association. 
    • Talcott Mountain Science Center & Academy: Get kids out of the house and into a world of science with our December Vacation programs
    • New Hartford Women's Club: Come to our Holiday Cookie Walk. We will be at the South End Fire Department on Sunday, December 4, from 10:00am to 12:00pm.
